Over the weekend I was fortunate enough to read Leanne Hall’s much anticipated debut novel This Is Shyness. (Clicking on the cover illustration will take you to Leanne’s Blog)
I will not be posting my full review at this time, rather I will wait until the day before Leanne’s Book Birthday.
I did want to take a moment though to say to you all, watch the shelves for this stunning debut, it is well worth the wait. In the meantime, here is a excerpt of my review….
This Is Shyness reads like an urban fairy tale. Intricately layered and rich in metaphoric detail it would make a fascinating classroom novel. It is beautiful. Exquisitely original and certainly unique, This Is Shyness is not a novel you will forget in a hurry. Wildgirl and Wolfboy are characters I assure you, you will remember forever.
