This book was………………….heart warming. Very heart warming. I loved every minute of it. I’d never thought of having a chimp as a brother, but after reading this book, I wanted my very own Zan!
The main character, Ben, was very determined to have his own way. He loved Zan and couldn’t think of anyone else taking him. I kept wondering, what if it was his real brother and his real brother was so annoying and didn’t want him?
Some books that I read don’t interest me, so I’m not eager to pick it up and read and read and read. Other books like this one I pick up during class because I want to know what will happen next and can’t be bothered waiting.
When I read books and the story doesn’t turn out the way I thought it would, like something really bad happened, it effects me in a way like it actually happened to me. I don’t know how, but I felt it in this book, alot!
I recommend this book to animal lovers. Because I am one too and enjoyed this book!
