This past Friday, I was honoured to be a presenter for the SLAV Conference titled, Reading Culture: collaborate, create, celebrate. The conference was beautifully organised and the wonderful SLAV members and NGV staff responsible for the Conference schedule and planning deserve a true pat on the back for all of their effort and hard work. I had a delightful time!
To those who attended my session, I promised you I would upload my presentation and my notes here on the blog. For those of you who might need the link to Corrie Barclay’s blog, you can find him and a plethora of invaluable iPad information and documents HERE
Please do feel free to use my notes for your own purposes and do not hesitate to contact me should I be of any further assistance.
Thank you, to all of the lovely people who made yesterday such a joy.

Hi Tye
I was at your session at SLAV last Friday and found it very interesting. Our school is just starting to explore i-Pad use and I thought your comments about apps made sense. You mentioned a full list of apps that you had found useful….could you please link me to that so that I can pass it on to staff.
Also, when are your findings due to be published?
Kind regards

Dear Tye, You were inspiring at the SLAV Conference and I am keen to see your resources and the apps and the way you organise iPads in the library – (from cataloguing to borrowing to uploading of apps) I could not get your presentation or notes from your blog – is there a hyperlink? I hope you can respond asap
Love Valerie
I want to share the information with the library staff and the ICT coach
Tye, I really enjoyed your presentation at the Slav/NGV in service, thank you for such an interesting and clear delivery. I have just been exploring your notes and am having trouble finding your list of apps. I thought you said they would be available to peruse at our leisure – but I can’t seem to locate them here. I would really appreciate you pointing me in the right direction.
Thanks in anticipation,

Hi Ladies,
Thank you all SO much for your lovely comments. I apologise, I included the link to Corrie Barclay’s blog for iPads in Education, but I did not make it clear enough how to find the lists of Apps. The link is here https://sites.google.com/site/iplayicreateilearn/ If you spend a little time perusing Corrie’s posts, you will find everything you ever needed to know or hadn’t thought to ask on his wonderful blog.
If there is anything at all I can do, please dont hesitate to ask.
Cheers,
Tye
