This book has grabbed me from the first word, and pulled me into the pages of its world, where New South Wales is no longer a beautiful city, but two worlds separated by a wall.
I don’t know about anyone else, but this book made me cringe; a lot. It wasn’t gruesome or bloody, but just so sad! Its makes you think “why on earth would the parents do that?!” “why don’t they care anymore?!”
All these questions ran through my head, and the further I went into the book, the more questions I got.
I always think that if a book makes you ask lots of questions, it is a pretty good book. If that book answers all your questions in some form or another, it is an awesome book. Once my head was full to the brim with “what happens now?” “what is that for?” and “who on earth is that?!” it was deeply satisfying for me when I got all the answers to my questions! Almost like someone emptying a water tank over flowing with water!
Not only was ‘Days Like This’ and interesting and ‘questionable’ book, it was also an amazing and exciting adventure that was constantly moving, so there was not a single boring page in the book!!!
I recommend this book to anyone that loves an adventure!!!
